Being Self Aware is a critical component to productivity, health and wellness, and the ability to contribute in your organization. Today, the pandemic is only making this worse. You may have had training that identifies what to look for as indicators regarding the health & wellness of your team members. Without Situational Awareness, you, your leadership and your team members are not able to identify the changes in behavior that indicate these issues nor are you prepared to be able to act to address the issues.
As a company leader, the development of team members and the culture of the organization is of utmost importance. Leadership needs to focus on the development of the positive habits and behaviors that are consistent with a healthy and safe workplace. To accomplish this, leaders need to use "learning opportunities" to develop their team members. Situational Awareness enables you and your team to identify these "learning opportunities".
